Mixing and Mastering
Brian Schwab owns and operates a mixing and mastering studio located on the north side of Chicago. The sophisticated environment is a warm and creative workspace equipped with the highest quality outboard equipment and the latest computer technology for music production.
Rich Logan has traveled the world studying and teaching massage therapy and Yoga. He is leader and guitarist of the Kirtan group, Akoustikirtan. He is a talented musician and an amazing human being. It was a pleasure to craft a master disc for his upcoming release. Check out a 2013 video of the group to get an idea of the style and vibe.
Working with producer Paul Mutzabaugh, Aaron McEvers is in the studio today mastering the debut record for his large ensemble M13. This side is an eclectic mix of progressive jazz, fusion and rock performed by some of Chicago's finest musicians. As a performer in the group as well I am happy to see the fruits hard work come to completion in such an amazing final product.
Spent the day mastering a new release from guitarist Donovan Mixon. This album features tracks from some of Donovan Mixon's european releases. The list of fantastic musicians includes George Garzone, Frank Wilkins, Brian McCree, Alvin Terry, Eddie Henderson, Bruno Cesselli, Dario Deidda and Enzo Zirilli.
Working with violinist Zara Zaharieva is always a treat. She has assembled a wonderful group of musicians and an wide range of material for a couple of YouTube videos that we recorded, filmed and edited. Check out the final results!
